BHG - On March 19, at the National Convention Center (Hanoi), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang in coordination with the Department of Culture and Tourism of Van Son district (Yunnan province, China) organized a conference to promote culture, tourism and trade.
Attending the conference on the Chinese side were comrade Tran Minh, Secretary of the Van Son Chau Party Committee; Peng The Doan, Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, along with leaders representing the Foreign Affairs Department, the Department of Culture and Tourism , the Department of Trade Affairs, the Department of Transport and 20 travel and trade enterprises of Van Son Chau. On the Vietnamese side were comrade Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the National Tourism Administration; Nguyen Hong Hai, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Giang province; leaders of the Vietnam Tourism Association and 50 Vietnamese travel enterprises and units with the Chinese market.

The conference on promoting culture, tourism and trade of Ha Giang province and Van Son district took place to promote and enhance cooperation in tourism development between Ha Giang province and Yunnan province, China; exchange, learn from experiences in building tourism products and effectively exploiting connecting tours between Ha Giang province and Yunnan province. Promote cultural and tourism resource products; effectively develop the source market of visitors; strengthen friendly cooperation between the two sides in the fields of culture and tourism, together promoting the prosperous development of the business sector. At the same time, implement the "Cooperation Plan between the People's Committee of Van Son district, China and the People's Committee of Ha Giang province for the period of 2021 - 2025" and well implement the contents of the memorandum of understanding signed by the two sides. Promote the development of border tourism between Vietnam and China; exchange management experience as well as find solutions to remove difficulties for businesses on both sides in bringing tourists through the Thanh Thuy (Vietnam) - Thien Bao (China) International Border Gate Pair.
At the conference, 6 travel agencies from both sides participated in the signing ceremony of cooperation to promote the two sides' tourist markets. At the same time, the parties agreed on a number of mechanisms and policies for cooperation in connecting and exploiting tours and routes to bring tourists through the Thanh Thuy (Vietnam) - Thien Bao (China) International Border Gate pair.
