To ensure electricity supply for exams in the capital, Hanoi Electricity Corporation (EVNHANOI) has synchronously deployed solutions for operating the power system, organizing on-duty staff, preparing backup plans, and coordinating well with examination councils.
Specifically, EVNHANOI will not cut off power to exam sites in Hanoi from June 7 to 9 and from June 25 to 28.
Stable and continuous power supply is ensured at important locations related to the exam, including: Examination council service points; examination marking and grading boards; examination review service points, etc.
Power companies under EVNHANOI proactively contact the exam organizing units to develop detailed power assurance plans. Power supply units with 2 grid sources or have backup plans with generators, ATS systems combined with inspection of power lines and transformer stations supplying power to exam locations. If there are any problems that do not meet operational requirements, they must be repaired and fixed immediately.
During the power supply period, EVNHANOI will arrange nearly 7,000 additional shifts to inspect and patrol the cable corridors supplying key transformer stations, to prevent incidents due to violations of the power line corridors.
The Corporation has increased inspection and temperature measurement of cable terminal contacts as well as equipment to detect overload; inspected cable corridors to promptly detect and prevent violations of cable protection corridors; inspected and prepared generators and means of transport to be ready to work when incidents occur.
In case of an incident, EVNHANOI is ready with personnel, materials, equipment, and means to promptly handle the incident, or quickly switch to a backup method to restore power to the test sites. At the test sites, backup generators with full wiring are available to supply power to important loads in case of a power outage.
