Hanoi: Forest fire at Ba Vi National Park basically under control

At around 9pm on April 19, a forest fire broke out at Ba Vi National Park. The Park's rangers, Forest Ranger Division No. 6 (Hanoi Forest Ranger Department) quickly arrived at the scene to handle the fire.

However, because the forest fire was at a high location (co 300m), difficult to access, the leaders of Ba Vi National Park reported to the District People's Committee to mobilize military and police forces to use specialized tools to approach the scene, coordinating with the people of Minh Quang commune to put out the fire.

Confirming with reporters of Hanoi Moi Newspaper, Director of Ba Vi National Park Do Huu The said that by around 10:30 p.m., the fire was basically under control. Currently, forest rangers and the military are continuing to handle the ashes to prevent the risk of the fire breaking out again.

In addition, authorities are also collecting information to investigate the cause of the forest fire at Ba Vi National Park.
