Hanoi will meet veteran revolutionary cadres and exemplary meritorious people.

On the morning of August 7, Major General Nguyen Khac Nhan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Hanoi Capital Command chaired the coordination conference to deploy Plan No. 204/KH-UBND dated July 29, 2025 of the Hanoi People's Committee on the program of meeting veteran revolutionary cadres, exemplary meritorious people; former city leaders of all periods, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

The program is expected to have 450 delegates and will be held at the headquarters of the Hanoi Capital Command on August 14, 2025.

The City People's Committee assigned relevant agencies and units of the city to advise, preside over, coordinate, and cooperate with units to develop a plan to serve the meeting to ensure solemnity, safety, and meaning from festive decorations, banners, slogans, propaganda information, etc.

At the conference, the city's departments, branches and sectors discussed the contents to ensure the meeting was thoughtful and solemn, especially the coordination to ensure security, safety, reception and gift giving to delegates...

The meeting program aims to show the deep concern of the Party Committee, government and people of the city for revolutionary veterans, meritorious people, and policy families; to honor and express gratitude for the great contributions of the delegates in the cause of national liberation struggle, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

The program also aims to encourage and motivate revolutionary veterans, meritorious people, and policy families to maintain and promote the heroic revolutionary tradition, join the entire Party and people in unanimity, and continue to contribute to the cause of building and developing a prosperous and happy country, firmly entering a new era of development for the country.
