Singer Nhu Quynh owns 2 products reaching 100 million views on YouTube
Recently, two bolero songs "Vung la me bay" (composed by Anh Viet Thanh) performed by Nhu Quynh have surpassed 100 million views on YouTube, after 6 years of being released to the audience. Previously, the MV "Duyen phan" (composed by Thai Thinh), also by singer Nhu Quynh, has just achieved a "huge" achievement with more than 111 million views.
Up to now, Nhu Quynh is the first Bolero singer to own two songs that have attracted more than 100 million views on YouTube. Nhu Quynh shared that up to now, bolero has always had a smaller audience than young music. The audience of bolero music is mainly the elderly, those who have experienced many years of memories and therefore understand this music genre.
"In the past, singing was quite difficult and arduous for me, and I was only accepted when I was middle-aged," said Nhu Quynh. However, at the present time, Nhu Quynh is surprised that her fans are all young people still in school. "I am very happy that the next generations still listen to Bolero music. Therefore, I wish to be young for another 5 or 10 years," said Nhu Quynh.
These are the first 2 bolero songs to reach over 100 million views.
Before Nhu Quynh's unexpected achievement, many audiences expected their idol to quickly make more new products.
Regarding new bolero songs, Nhu Quynh said she is more suited to old bolero songs. But that does not mean she is afraid to try new compositions because each era's compositions have their own advantages.
"I have sung many bolero songs by young musicians and they have been well received by everyone. I think whether or not my voice is suitable for the song is the most important thing" - Nhu Quynh said.
