Two universities have 105 teachers meeting professor and associate professor standards by 2025

(Dan Tri) - In these two universities alone, by 2025, 105 teachers will be recognized as meeting the standards for the titles of professor and associate professor.

The Chairman of the State Council of Professors has signed a decision to officially recognize 900 candidates nationwide as meeting the standards for the title of professor and associate professor in 2025.

Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University are the two universities with the highest number of teachers and scientists meeting the standards of professor and associate professor in the country.

At these two educational institutions alone, this year there are 105 candidates recognized as meeting the standards of professor and associate professor.

Specifically, Hanoi National University has the most qualified candidates in the country with 54 people, including 8 professors and 46 associate professors.

Among the 8 new professors of this university, the youngest is Mr. Bui Thanh Tung, 43 years old, University of Medicine and Pharmacy, recognized as a professor of Pharmacy.

Dr. Do Quang Loc, lecturer at the Faculty of Physics, University of Science, is the youngest new associate professor in the country to be recognized this year.

Ho Chi Minh City National University has 51 qualified candidates, including 8 people qualified for the title of professor and 43 people qualified for the title of associate professor.

Of the 8 new professors, 5 are from the University of Technology and 3 are from the University of Science.

The youngest person at Ho Chi Minh City National University to achieve the title of professor this year is Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Van, 45 years old, from the University of Natural Sciences.

Mr. Le Kim Hung, 35 years old, School of Information Technology is the new young associate professor of Ho Chi Minh City National University this year.

Universities with many new professors and associate professors in 2025 include Hanoi University of Science and Technology with 30 people, Can Tho University and Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy with 22 people, University of Construction with 20 people...
