According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, from early morning to night of June 5, in the Northwest and Viet Bac regions, from Thanh Hoa to Hue, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10 - 30 mm, locally over 70 mm. Rain will be concentrated in the morning, evening and night.

From the afternoon and evening of June 5, in the Central Highlands and the South, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally heavy rain with rainfall of 10 - 30 mm, locally over 70 mm.

Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Localized heavy rains may cause flash floods on small rivers and streams, landslides on steep slopes and flooding in low-lying areas.
