Hai Duong has disbursed all capital entrusted from the provincial budget for loans to solve employment problems.

The provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies has disbursed all 240 billion VND of capital allocated for the job creation program from the provincial budget trust fund.

Of the total VND300 billion of capital from the provincial budget entrusted for lending at the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies, VND240 billion is for the program to support job creation, job maintenance and expansion; VND50 billion for the social housing loan program; and VND10 billion for loans to people who have completed their prison sentences.

By the end of June 2, the provincial branch of the Social Policy Bank had lent all the capital allocated for the job creation program, with over 3,000 people receiving loans.

As of June 2, the total outstanding social policy debt in the province reached VND 5,860 billion, an increase of 6.4% compared to the end of 2024, with 88,904 households having outstanding debt. Of which, the job creation loan program has the largest outstanding debt, with VND 1,953 billion, accounting for 33.3% of the total outstanding debt, 15,816 borrowing households. Ranked second is the clean water and rural environmental sanitation program, with outstanding debt of VND 1,621 billion, accounting for 27.7% of the total outstanding debt, 59,244 borrowing households. Ranked third is the program for newly escaped poverty households, outstanding debt of VND 1,257 billion, accounting for 21.5% of the total outstanding debt, 22,786 borrowing households.

At the same time, the total capital of the provincial branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies reached VND 5,874 billion, an increase of 6.4% compared to the end of 2024. Of which, the capital entrusted from the local budget at the provincial and district levels reached VND 916 billion, accounting for 15.6% of the total capital for policy credit activities in the whole province. Capital mobilized from organizations and individuals was VND 1,094 billion.

Previously, in early May 2025, the Provincial People's Committee decided to add 300 billion VND from the provincial budget to entrust policy credit loans. This additional capital has completed the target of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee by the end of 2025, the entrusted capital from the local budget accounts for at least 15% of the total capital of the Provincial Social Policy Bank.
