The Standing Committee of Hai Phong City Party Committee has just held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW dated June 9, 2014 of the Party Central Committee (11th tenure) on building and developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.
After 10 years of implementation in Hai Phong city, Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW of the Politburo in the city has been thoroughly grasped and comprehensively and synchronously implemented by the Party Committee, government and political system. Through cultural and artistic activities, the propaganda and promotion of breakthrough achievements in economic and social development, the values and beauty of the land and people of Hai Phong with cultural depth and historical depth are honored, praised and spread. The leadership method of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, and Party committees at all levels in the city in implementing and organizing Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW over the past 10 years has had many innovations and creativity, implemented synchronously with Resolution No. 32-NQ/TW dated August 5, 2003 of the Politburo on building and developing Hai Phong city in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country; Resolution No. 45-NQ/TW dated January 24, 2019 of the Politburo on building and developing Hai Phong city to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
Following the direction of the Central Government and based on the practical situation of the locality, Hai Phong has issued resolutions, directives, conclusions and projects, creating important premises for the construction and development of Hai Phong culture and people. At the same time, diversifying the forms of dissemination and propaganda of Resolution No. 33-NQ/TW has contributed significantly to raising awareness of the position, role and importance of culture among cadres, party members and people of the city.
In addition, the work of building a cultural environment, preserving and promoting the value of cultural heritages has been effectively implemented. Cultural movements and activities have developed extensively, attracting more and more artists and people from all walks of life, effectively serving the political tasks of the city, and improving the aesthetic taste of the people. The movement of the whole people uniting to build a cultural life has contributed to restoring some good customs and practices, gradually pushing back social evils, promoting the construction of a healthy cultural environment...

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee, requested that in the coming time, Party committees, authorities, agencies and units continue to thoroughly grasp Resolution No. 33 of the Central Committee (11th tenure), Conclusion No. 76 dated June 4, 2020 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 33, Action Program No. 33 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee in conjunction with implementing the direction of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the National Cultural Conference on November 24, 2021 and the Resolutions, directives, conclusions, strategies, projects and guiding documents of the Central and the city on developing Vietnamese culture and people to meet the requirements of sustainable national development.
Strengthen state management in the cultural field, strictly handle violations and unhealthy cultural activities. Resolutely handle social evils according to the law and protect and promote traditional moral values, good customs and practices, and fight against degenerate behaviors.
The Secretary of the Hai Phong City Party Committee also requested to promote the value of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, historical , cultural and revolutionary relics.
