During the State visit to China of General Secretary and President
To Lam and his wife, after the official welcoming ceremony, the wife of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, Professor Peng Liyuan, invited the wife of General Secretary and President To Lam, Ms. Ngo Phuong Ly, to enjoy a tea party and watch traditional Chinese art performances.
At the tea party, Madam Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her joy at meeting Professor Peng Li Yuan; respectfully conveyed the warm greetings of the late
General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's wife, Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, to Professor Peng Li Yuan. Professor Peng Li Yuan warmly welcomed Madam Ngo Phuong Ly to visit China, expressed her joy at meeting Madam Ngo Phuong Ly, and conveyed warm greetings to Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's wife. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the two Madams exchanged and shared about the unique cultural features of the two countries. Professor Peng Li Yuan recalled the memories and good impressions of his previous visits to Vietnam; introduced some typical artistic and cultural features of China. Madam Ngo Phuong Ly shared her feelings about the unique Chinese culture. The two Madams had a warm and friendly conversation and enjoyed tea.
