Vietnam People's Navy ready for sea parade

In compliance with the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, recently, the Navy has urgently coordinated with relevant agencies and units to develop a plan to organize a parade of armed forces at sea in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The parade of armed forces at sea will be held in Khanh Hoa province, with the participation of the following forces: Navy, Vietnam Coast Guard, Border Guard and Military Region 5. In which, the Navy's forces and vehicles play a core role, with the participation of Kilo 636 submarines, surface ships, Naval Air Force and other specialized units.

Over the past time, the units participating in the parade have developed detailed plans; selected elite forces; organized specialized training for each ship; trained in parade ceremonies at the wharf, such as saluting the flag; practiced moving in formation and formation; handled situations at sea, practiced on maps, sand tables and maneuvered back to the wharf.

Currently, all vehicles, weapons, equipment and military equipment serving the parade have been thoroughly inspected and maintained, ensuring the best technical condition, ready to serve the mission in real conditions.

This is an opportunity for Navy officers and soldiers to demonstrate their competitive spirit and aspiration to contribute to the cause of firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland; at the same time, make achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

At the working session with units participating in the armed forces parade at sea, Rear Admiral Nguyen Van Bach, Deputy Commander-Chief of Staff of the Navy, requested that the forces and affiliated units strictly comply with discipline; strictly manage the number of troops; ensure absolute safety during the entire mission; organize well the logistics and technical work, especially ensuring the technical condition of ships, boats, equipment and weapons during the training and parade.

Units closely follow the plan, organize mobile training according to the approved plan, form tight parade formations and promptly draw lessons after each training session to improve overall quality.
