Implementing the Program for Protection and Development of Aquatic Resources by 2030, Lam Dong province will release 15,000 - 20,000 aquatic breeds into natural waters, while at the same time, over 50% of natural lakes, large reservoirs and main river systems will be investigated and assessed for aquatic resources and habitats.

The objective of the Program is to restore and use aquatic resources and aquatic ecosystems rationally and effectively; to link the inspection and management of aquatic resources with sustainable fishing activities.

Thereby raising awareness of the community and society about conservation, protection and development of aquatic resources, contributing to sustainable development, preserving biodiversity and the value of biological resources; proactively and effectively responding to climate change; promoting green growth, improving people's lives and livelihoods.
