On August 5, the official Facebook page of Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department posted a post about publicizing the list of tax officials supporting taxpayers.
Accordingly, to continue to promote support for taxpayers, creating favorable conditions for people and businesses in fulfilling tax obligations to the State budget, the city tax authority has assigned and publicized a list of tax officials to support taxpayers.
Specifically, the list of supporting civil servants is made public according to 3 main content groups.
In Appendix I, the list includes many tax officers at the facilities assigned to directly support each enterprise, business household, and individual business. This list includes the full name, phone number, and email of each specific responsible officer.
In Appendix II, Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department publicly discloses the list of officials in specialized departments and local tax offices, including specific information about full name, phone number, email, and work unit. This is the group of civil servants responsible for receiving and handling difficulties and problems in the process of implementing tax administrative procedures of taxpayers.

In Appendix III, the tax authority publicly discloses the tax establishments responsible for receiving information reflecting tax evasion and tax fraud. Contact information includes the phone numbers and emails of the tax establishments.
According to the published list, hundreds of thousands of businesses/business households/individuals doing business in Ho Chi Minh City have contact points from civil servants to contact if they need tax support.
From July 1, the Tax Department of Region II was officially renamed Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department with 29 tax offices under its management in the area, including Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong province and Ba Ria - Vung Tau province before. Of which, tax offices from 1 - 20 were in charge of the former Ho Chi Minh City area; tax offices from 21 - 24 were in charge of the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau area; and tax offices from 25 - 29 were in charge of the former Binh Duong area.
As of the morning of August 7, the public post of the list by Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department has received nearly 1,000 interactions expressing their love.
According to the 2024 Enterprise White Book, the old Ho Chi Minh City alone has more than 273,000 active enterprises, accounting for 29.6% of the total number of enterprises nationwide and larger than many other large cities and localities. Experts also estimate that the number of individual business households is about 450,000. The city affirms its position as the leading business center in Vietnam.
