The competition was attended by 14 artisans from 7 communes and towns in Yen Chau district. The artisans chose traditional crafts with creativity and uniqueness of the Thai ethnic group such as: weaving family fans, rice fans, baskets, nets, fishing nets, baskets, trays...; female artisans chose to embroider scarves, embroider pillow covers, embroider floral scarves,...
During 25 minutes, the artisans demonstrated their skills to make traditional products with scoring criteria of time, beautiful products, aesthetics, good product presentation and meaning.
Traditional woven products are made from carefully selected natural materials such as rattan, bamboo, and rattan, ensuring flexibility and durability. Artisans use sophisticated hand weaving techniques, combining horizontal and vertical weaving lines to create unique patterns, imbued with national identity.
Thai women's embroidery products are imbued with traditional culture, often expressed on dresses, scarves, etc. with sophisticated patterns and many bright colors.
The contest is an opportunity for people to demonstrate their talents, creativity and traditional cultural beauty in production labor, and also contributes to creating a vibrant atmosphere, connecting the community within the framework of Yen Chau Mango Festival 2025.
The costume show has 14 contestants from the communes of Chieng Tuong, Tu Nang, Sap Vat, Chieng Pan, Chieng Hac, Chieng Khoi, Yen Chau town.

Each commune has 2 contestants participating in the competition, performing in original and modernized costumes.
Many contestants left an impression on visitors and judges through their performances of original costumes of Black Thai, Black Mong, and Kho Mu ethnic women, accompanied by narrations and presentations about the costumes and music, songs, and accompanying parts imbued with the traditional cultural identities of the ethnic groups.
The competition attracted a large number of people and tourists to participate and cheer. At the same time, it aroused aspirations and national pride andeducated the younger generation to be more proud and raise awareness and responsibility for the work of preserving and promoting the cultural values of ethnic groups.
