Exciting first professional Joy Heyball Billiards Tournament in Vietnam

Speaking at the draw and opening ceremony of the tournament, Mr. Vu Trong Khai - head of the tournament organizing committee said: "Joy Heyball is a unique and new billiards sport in Vietnam. As a pioneer in developing this sport in Vietnam, we hope to create a professional and fair playground for players from all over the country to interact with each other. Through the tournament, we will also select players worthy of representing Vietnam to participate in international Joy Heyball tournaments."

The tournament is highly anticipated by fans.

This tournament will take place from September 17 to 19 at Billiards World Of Pool Club (18 Nguyen Lam, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City).

Players will compete on 8 international standard Joy Heyball tables. 48 players will compete in 2 matches to find 24 players to enter round 2. In this round, 24 players are divided into 8 groups, each group of 3 players will compete in a round robin to choose 16 names to enter the play-off round.

From the play-off round, players compete in a knockout round to find the champion with a prize of 79 million VND along with a ticket to participate in the Joy Heyball Masters Division Tour and Super Tour in China taking place in October.

In particular, the second Joy Senior will have a different format compared to the first season. The tournament aims to select the best Vietnamese players to compete in the Joy Heyball International system, so players from professional to C class will play the same ball. Only professional and A class will give female players and D class one live ball (last ball).

In addition, players who make it to the play-off round will accumulate points. The 16 players with the highest scores after 3 stages will be invited to compete in the final tournament with a championship prize of up to 120 million VND.

The tournament promises to have many exciting competitions.

The Joy Heyball Senior 2023 tournament system has a total of 4 stages, including 3 points accumulation stages and 1 final stage. This is the first professional Joy Heyball tournament system in Vietnam. At Joy Senior Tour 1, the championship belongs to Hoang Thai Duy, the runner-up is Tat Duy Kien, the top 4 includes Pham Phuong Nam and Vu Tuan Anh.

World Of Pool Billiards is a Pool Club in Ho Chi Minh City. There are a total of 33 tables, including 25 pool tables meeting SEA Games and National competition standards; 8 Joy Heyball tables meeting international competition standards. WOP is one of the first clubs to become an official member of the Ho Chi Minh City Billiards & Snooker Federation.
