Be fair to Mbappe!

The 2024-2025 season ended with a strange highlight. That was Kylian Mbappe winning a double of individual titles, including the La Liga top scorer title and the European Golden Shoe.

To achieve the two noble titles mentioned above, Mbappe scored a total of 31 goals, surpassing his rival Lewandowski (27 goals) in La Liga.

And the big strikers in other leagues like Salah (29 goals, England) or Gyokeres (39 goals, but the Portuguese League only counts 1.5 points for each goal, while the top 5 European leagues count 2 points per goal).

Strangely enough, this is the first time in Mbappe's career that he has won the Golden Boot race.

But there is one player who deserves no blame in this run of games. That is Mbappe, who has scored a total of 5 goals in 3 games. You can't ask for more from a player who has just arrived in La Liga this summer.

In particular, Mbappe had to play under great pressure. After a series of successful seasons, combined with the fact that most of the main players were getting old (like Kroos retiring, Nacho leaving, Modric and Carvajal being too old), Real Madrid's decline was inevitable.
