Da Nang issues open letter calling for no littering during fireworks festival

On May 29, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City sent an open letter to all tourists, residents, students, etc. calling for joint efforts to protect the environment at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2025).

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City, DIFF 2025 will take place on the banks of the poetic Han River, lasting from May 31 to July 12 with the theme "Da Nang - a new era".

2025 marks the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang City, so DIFF 2025 carries a message of era transition, affirming the city's aspirations and determination in the new period.

The event will continue to be a highlight to attract tourists, contributing to making Da Nang the center of summer tourism.

Besides the efforts of the forces contributing to the success of each fireworks season, the image of many young people, police officers, environmental sanitation workers... staying behind to clean up trash around the stands, fireworks viewing areas and along crowded streets always leaves a good impression.

These actions further highlight the brand of Da Nang - a clean, beautiful, modern, environmentally friendly city; with civilized, friendly and hospitable people.

According to the schedule, from 8:00 p.m. on May 31, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival DIFF 2025 will open. Host Da Nang (Vietnam 1) will compete with defending champion Finland.

DIFF 2025 has 10 competing teams, including Vietnam (2 teams), Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada and China.
