In his opening speech, Mr. Nguyen Cao Tan, Deputy Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Tourism , emphasized that in the context of global climate change, sustainable tourism development is not only a trend, but also a responsibility. This event is of great significance, contributing to gradually realizing that goal with specific, simple and practical actions: "Planting another green shoot for Cuc Phuong, planting another green shoot for the Earth".
The forest planting program in Cuc Phuong is one of the opening activities for the Trang An Forestival 2025 Music and Creativity Festival taking place on the evening of May 31 at Khe Coc Island, Trang An Eco-tourism Area, Ninh Binh .
Forestival is a key activity within the framework of the Cultural Project “Heart of Heritage”, organized by Ninh Binh Department of Tourism in coordination with Viet Vision Company on the occasion of the 11th anniversary of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex being recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. The event is a unique combination of "Festival" and "Forest", a festival of music , of art, but also a festival of forests, of ecology and of natural revival.
The festival is determined to be held annually for 5 consecutive years (2025-2029), demonstrating Ninh Binh province's strong and long-term commitment to making culture-arts-environment a pillar of sustainable development; extending the cultural source of gratitude and respect for nature that our ancestors have passed down, while connecting the past with the present, tradition with creativity, heritage with the future.
