Ngo Quyen District People's Council agreed to stop the investment policy of the 35m road adjacent to the District Political

At this session, the delegates of the People's Council of Ngo Quyen district gave their opinions on the unanimous approval of the district's state budget settlement in 2024 with a total budget revenue in the area reaching more than 2,381 billion VND. The total local budget revenue is more than 1,074 billion VND, spending more than 1,066 billion VND. The delegates also gave their opinions on the suspension of the investment policy of the Project to invest in the construction of a 35m road adjacent to the District Political - Administrative Center (section from Le Hong Phong Street to Nguyen Huy Tuong Street) which was decided by the District People's Council in Resolution 28 dated October 8, 2024 due to a number of issues related to planning.

Comrade Trinh Quang Truong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Ngo Quyen District spoke at the meeting.

In particular, at this Session, the People's Council of Ngo Quyen District unanimously issued a Resolution allowing the District People's Committee to decide on investment policies for 6 projects implemented through 2 consecutive medium-term public investment plans 2021-2026 and 2026-20230 exceeding 20% but not exceeding 50% of the medium-term public investment plan capital for the period 2021-2025. Of which, 3 projects have investment policy decisions: Renovation and repair of classroom buildings in Area A of Lac Vien Secondary School; Construction of classroom buildings and administrative areas of Nguyen Trai Primary School; Repair and renovation of drainage systems, sidewalks and underground power lines on Van Cao Street (phase 1). 3 projects expected to have investment policy decisions include: Investment project to upgrade, renovate and build new Thai Phien High School; Le Hong Phong Secondary School Construction Project and Sao Bien Kindergarten Building and Headquarters Construction Project.

Permanent Vice Chairman of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee Nguyen Quoc Thai spoke at the meeting.

In addition, the District People's Council gave opinions on Adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021-2025 (11th time) and Adjusting the Public Investment Plan of Ngo Quyen District in 2025 (2nd time)./.
