At the working session on the morning of July 17, representatives of Hoi An City leaders and related units explained many important contents related to socio -economic development and people's lives that were questioned by the City People's Council delegates.
Hoi An City People's Council delegates voted to pass 9 resolutions including: Resolution on approving the state budget settlement for 2023; Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the medium-term investment capital plan for the period 2021 - 2025; Resolution on supplementing the public investment portfolio for 2024; Resolution on the expected public investment portfolio for 2025; Resolution on deciding on the investment policy for the Hoi An City Sports Center project (stadium and auxiliary items); Resolution on tasks and solutions for socio-economic development, national defense and security in the last 6 months of 2024; Resolution on approving the Project to build Hoi An City - a creative city for the period 2024 - 2027, with a vision to 2030; Resolution on measures to ensure the implementation of democracy at the grassroots level in Hoi An City; Resolution on the 2025 monitoring program of the City People's Council.
At the 12th session, Hoi An City People's Council also agreed on the plan to use increased revenue and save expenditure in 2023; agreed to report official data on the socio-economic situation of Hoi An city in 2023; agreed to add the wooden bridge project connecting Bach Dang street and Cong Nu Ngoc Hoa street to the public investment portfolio for the period 2021 - 2025 and the public investment portfolio for 2024, using the capital plan from the unallocated reserve source without changing the investment capital plan for the period 2024 - 2025 and the plan for 2024.
