Thanh Hoa City People's Council passed 3 important resolutions

On the afternoon of February 27, the People's Council of Thanh Hoa City, term XXII, 2021-2026, held the 3rd session to review and resolve a number of important contents under its authority.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa City emphasized: Implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the Party Central Committee on a number of issues to continue innovating and rearranging the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient; Official Dispatch No. 05/CV-BCĐTKNQ18 of the Provincial Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW, recently the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the City Party Committee's Organization Board and the City People's Committee to review and advise on the development of a project to rearrange departments, offices, and public service units of the city in accordance with the direction of the Central and Provincial Party Committees.

At this session, the City People's Council reviewed and decided on the organization of specialized agencies under the City People's Committee and the public investment plan. These are very important contents to effectively implement Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and Conclusion No. 121-KL/TW of the Central Executive Committee, while ensuring leadership, direction, management and organization of the implementation of the city's political tasks in the field of public investment.

With that spirit, the Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the City People's Council requested that the City People's Council delegates uphold their sense of responsibility, properly implement the principle of democratic centralism, and focus on carefully studying reports, submissions, and draft resolutions so that the session can achieve the best results.

Comrade Le Trong Thu, Chairman of the City People's Committee, approved the draft resolution on reorganizing specialized agencies under the City People's Committee.

At the meeting, the Thanh Hoa City People's Council approved the report on supplementing the medium-term public investment plan of the State budget for the period 2021-2025; the report on approving the public investment plan for 2025 from the source of land use fee transfer in 2024; the report on the draft resolution on reorganizing specialized agencies under the City People's Committee. Approved the inspection reports of the Economic - Social Committee of the City People's Council; the inspection report of the Legal Committee of the City People's Council.

In the spirit of concentration and democracy, after carefully studying the submissions and inspection reports of the City People's Council committees, the City People's Council delegates unanimously voted to pass the three resolutions of the session.

In order to soon stabilize and effectively operate the apparatus, in his concluding remarks at the conference, Comrade Le Anh Xuan, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa City People's Council, requested the City People's Committee to promptly adjust, supplement and promulgate regulations on the tasks and powers of the newly established specialized departments. Arrange the use of offices, equipment... to serve the activities of departments, offices, and public service units after the arrangement, ensuring rationality, economy, efficiency, and avoiding waste.
