At the meeting, delegates passed a resolution approving the policy of arranging commune-level administrative units in Tinh Bien town, including the following localities: Establishing Tinh Bien ward on the basis of merging Tinh Bien ward, An Phu ward and current An Nong commune; establishing Chi Lang ward on the basis of merging Chi Lang ward, Nui Voi ward and current Tan Loi commune; establishing Thoi Son ward on the basis of merging current Thoi Son, Nhon Hung, Nha Bang wards;

Along with that, Nui Cam commune will be established on the basis of merging the current An Hao and Tan Lap communes; An Cu commune will be established on the basis of merging the current An Cu, Van Giao, and Vinh Trung communes.

Previously, the People's Committee of Tinh Bien Town organized a voter consultation on changing the name of Tinh Bien Nam commune to Nui Cam commune; changing the name of Tinh Bien Trung commune to An Cu commune, with 99.87% of voters agreeing.
