According to sources from Tri Thuc - Znews , Hendrio has "preliminarily signed" a contract with Hanoi FC. This contract is for three years and is expected to be officially announced next week. Previously, the Brazilian player had appeared several times at the capital city team's training ground in My Dinh, raising suspicions about this "blockbuster" transfer.

Hendrio began his career in Vietnam in 2021 playing for Binh Dinh FC. After an initial adjustment period, he shone brightly in the 2022 season, playing a key role in the club's style of play – contributing 9 goals and helping the team win the V.League bronze medal and finish as runners-up in the National Cup. However, after a successful season, Hendrio parted ways with Binh Dinh FC due to a failure to reach an agreement on a new contract.

In December 2022, the South American star joined Nam Dinh FC and quickly became a key player in the team's style of play. In the 2023/24 season, Hendrio played a major role in helping Nam Dinh win the V.League championship for the first time in their history.

In 48 appearances, Hendrio scored 16 goals for the Nam Dinh team. However, on March 31, 2025, the Brazilian player officially said goodbye. Since then, his next destination has remained a big question mark.
