In Hai Ly commune, the delegation surveyed a number of architectural works belonging to the complex of many churches belonging to Xuong Dien parish; The vestige of the bell tower of the "Heart" church, commonly known as the ruined Hai Ly church - the only place in Vietnam and rare in the world that is being paid attention to by scientists for the purpose of scientific research, education on environmental protection, response to climate change and development of community ecotourism.
With the wild beauty and ancient architecture of the bell tower, in recent years, the locality has carried out the work of preserving the relics and building an eco-tourism planning area. In particular, through many scenes in documentaries and international tourism television reports, the church bell tower relics have increasingly become an attraction for domestic and international tourists.
The survey team of the Tourism Association of the two provinces also surveyed Thinh Long beach in Thinh Long town. The beach has been forming 3 bathing beaches, running along the sandbank are rows of green casuarinas. All create a wild, unique beauty from nature with a rich ecosystem. In particular, the seafood dishes caught by fishermen from the sea processed in a typical style are what are attracting and holding tourists.
Currently, the traffic routes are built quite conveniently, Thinh Long beach is only about 50km from Nam Dinh city and Hoa Lu city, it will be a very potential place for sea tourism.
At the places visited, surveyed and experienced, the Tourism Association of Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces and tourism businesses had the opportunity to exchange information, cooperate, share experiences, contribute together, suggest ideas to create more tourism products in each locality, along with inter-regional tourism products, closed linkages..., suitable for the development trend of the tourism industry in the present and future.
