We are proud to see the number of MICHELIN Starred restaurants increase this year with the emergence of a new generation of talented young chefs, said Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of MICHELIN Guides.

Many chefs are returning to their roots, using modern cooking techniques to tell stories about their homeland and evoke the flavors of their childhood.

On the other hand, sidewalk stalls, family restaurants, or long-standing dining establishments continue to preserve culinary traditions with originality and intense passion.

“For our judges, the journey to find new dining establishments in Vietnam is as exciting and exciting as the first day. They are truly inspired by the dedication, creativity and relentless pursuit of excellence of chefs across the country. And of course, they are eager to continue searching for more ‘rare gems’ in the years to come,” said Mr. Gwendal Poullennec.
