Effectiveness of the emulation movement "Good worker, Creative worker"

DTO - The province currently has 1,250 grassroots trade unions with more than 89,100 union members and workers in agencies, units and enterprises. The majority of union members and workers have strong political will, trust in the leadership of the Party, have a spirit of patriotism, solidarity, hard work, creativity, and overcoming difficulties. At the same time, they constantly strive to improve in the fields of work, production, and life, actively participating in movements launched by Party committees, authorities and unions at all levels. Thereby, contributing many important results to the overall achievements of the province.

Collectives received Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers" in 2023.

Imbued with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism requires emulation", trade unions at all levels have launched many emulation movements, focusing on the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers" among cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers. Grassroots trade unions have signed emulation agreements, as well as registered to carry out projects, tasks, initiatives and new products to achieve achievements in celebration of major holidays and trade union congresses at all levels for the 2023 - 2028 term. Through the implementation of the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers" among union members and workers in 2023, the whole province has 4,323 initiatives and solutions of union members and workers recognized by all levels.

Notably, the emulation movement "Good worker, Creative worker" in theeducation and training sector is concretized through the emulation movements "Innovation, creativity in teaching and learning", "Good at school work, good at home work", "Building a friendly school, active students", the campaign "Democracy, discipline, love, responsibility" has been widely supported and actively participated by teachers. Through the emulation movement, more than 2,430 topics and initiatives have been recognized. Some typical initiatives, reaching provincial level initiatives such as: effectively applying the model "STEM Experience Club" to the National competition "Children's Ideas" achieved high results.

The Health Sector Union associated the emulation movement with the implementation of Uncle Ho's teaching "A good doctor is like a mother", the trade unions at all levels coordinated with professional departments to launch the emulation movement "Good worker, Creative worker" associated with the movement "Improving medical ethics", "Improving professional qualifications and skills to serve patients" with the aim of improving the quality of medical examination, treatment and health care for the people. Some typical initiatives include: Researching the production of instant tea from the Northern herb Leersia hexandra; Improving the process of diagnosing intestinal obstruction using computed tomography; Monitoring compliance with paraclinical indications and prescriptions at Tan Hong District Medical Center using information technology applications...

Along with implementing policies related to the working environment, rest time, and health protection, the grassroots trade union in the enterprise sector also promotes the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers" associated with many initiatives and solutions applied, bringing billions of dong in benefits to the enterprise. Typical initiatives and solutions include: Installing an FCU system to improve the temperature and humidity for the finished product packaging area, creating an effective working environment, ensuring food hygiene and safety at Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company (Sa Dec City); Designing a tank to collect blood from pre-filleted fish of union members of the QVD Dong Thap Food Joint Stock Company, helping to save costs for the unit up to hundreds of millions of dong...

Through the movement "Good workers, Creative workers" contributes to promoting production and business activities in enterprises, creating motivation for sustainable development of enterprises, enhancing competitiveness, reputation, image and brand of enterprises in the market.

The Provincial Federation of Labor directs and guides all levels of the Union to widely implement the emulation movement "Excellent Labor, Creative Labor" associated with the effective implementation of the Program "1 million initiatives - efforts to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to defeat the Covid-19 pandemic". From the program, the whole province has 8,098/7,623 initiatives logged into the software (reaching 106%) compared to the set target. The content of the initiatives is diverse in the fields of education, health, technology, engineering, promptly meeting the production and work requirements of agencies, units, and enterprises. As a result of the emulation movement "Excellent Labor, Creative Labor", the whole province has 44 collectives and 95 individuals receiving Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor and 1 individual receiving the Certificate of Creative Labor from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
