TPO – Understanding the importance of the 500kV line 3 project, the youth of Nghe An province have unanimously devoted themselves to implementing many effective and creative tasks to provide maximum support to the construction force, bringing the project to the finish line on schedule.

The 500kV line 3 through Nghe An province is nearly 100km long, including 6 districts and cities with nearly 202 poles. In recent days, construction units have been urgently deploying pole installation. Currently, some poles have been completed and are entering the wire pulling stage.

To support the construction team of the 500kV line 3, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union has established 74 volunteer shock troops with more than 1,100 youth union members to mobilize people to hand over the site, propagate the importance of the project; support construction workers; support carrying materials; relocate houses to clear the site; and cut down trees along the route corridor.

According to the report, the youth of Nghe An province supported the demolition of 24 houses of households affected by the corridor.

The Youth Union supported the dismantling of 44 structures and barns in the affected area.

Participated in supporting the felling of more than 26 hectares with nearly 9,000 trees of various types affecting the route corridor.

Despite the hot and difficult weather, the youth union force was still enthusiastic and eager to support people in dismantling their property, moving their houses to new places to hand over the site to the project construction unit.

The tiles are removed, ensuring they remain intact for the homeowner to continue reusing.

Youth union members also coordinated with police forces and authorities to participate in clearing land in areas affected by the project.

In the spirit of "sharing the fire and hardship", the youth of Nghe An province unanimously supported the forces participating in the task in 6 districts and cities where the power line passed through with more than 1,000 water tanks, milk, 500 meals, and 500 kg of fresh lemons.

Not only participating in site clearance, the youth union members also assisted in carrying suitable components and materials, helping the forces speed up the construction progress.

Mr. Dang Van Trung - Secretary of Nam Dan District Youth Union (Nghe An) said that the whole district has 4 intersections that need the support of youth union members to direct traffic and 8 anchorage positions that need support to clear the corridor of power lines. To support the construction force, the Steering Committee of the peak emulation period has established 12 teams with the participation of 180 union members and youths from the whole district.

In Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town (Nghe An), youth union members have also established more than 30 teams with the participation of 450 union members and young people to support the construction forces of the 500kV power line project.

In June, the construction items will be basically completed. In July, the functional units will conduct technical inspection, acceptance and inauguration of the project.

As of June 22, the 500kV line 3 Quang Trach - Pho Noi project is carrying out pole erection and wire pulling. Of these, 698 poles have been completed and 400 poles are in the process of being erected.
