The Vietnamese delegation welcoming the President of South Korea and his wife at the airport included: Head of the Office of the President Le Khanh Hai, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, Permanent Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu, Vietnamese Ambassador to South Korea Nguyen Vu Tung, Korean Ambassador to Vietnam Oh Young Ju and representatives of several relevant agencies (Photo: Phong Son).

According to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs , the visit of the South Korean President took place at the invitation of President Vo Van Thuong. The South Korean leader will spend 3 days in Vietnam from June 22 to 24 with a series of meetings and attending many events (Photo: Phong Son).

This is the first visit to Vietnam by South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol. Vietnam is also the first Southeast Asian country that the South Korean President has visited since taking office (Photo: Manh Quan).
