On the morning of May 22, Bac Lieu province officially organized the 10th grade high school entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, becoming the first locality in the country to organize this important exam.
The exam was attended by 7,140 candidates who have graduated from secondary school. According to the announced enrollment quota, high schools across Bac Lieu province will enroll a total of 6,660 students.
On the morning of May 22, candidates will take the literature exam, in the afternoon they will take the English exam, and on the morning of May 23, they will take the math exam.
Candidates applying to Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted will take an additional specialized subject exam from the afternoon of May 23 to the morning of May 24.
The new point of the 10th grade entrance exam is that the 10th grade literature entrance exam will not use content from textbooks. Instead, the exam will focus on works and excerpts selected from outside the textbook. This is to assess students' ability to apply knowledge and skills in reading comprehension, analysis, and writing.
