According to HIU's announcement of the minimum admission scores based on the 2024 high school graduation exam results, the majors with the highest minimum scores are Medicine and Dentistry, at 22.5 points.

Majors such as Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy have a minimum admission score of 21 points. Majors such as Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing - Midwifery, and Rehabilitation Technology have a minimum admission score of 19 points.

Specifically, the Public Health and Nutrition majors are not subject to entrance requirements according to regulations; HIU accepts applications with a minimum score of 15 points.

In addition, HIU also announced the minimum admission scores for majors in the following groups: Economics - Management; International Languages ​​and Cultures; Social Sciences; Technology - Engineering, which is 15 points, on July 17, 2024.

Candidates should note the following regulations for university admissions in 2024: All candidates who participated in the 2024 high school graduation exam, met the requirements for high school graduation, and had a total admission score equal to or higher than the above-mentioned minimum quality assurance threshold are eligible to apply for admission to HIU. Candidates must REGISTER FOR ADMISSION on the Ministry of Education and Training 's system with the school code HIU from today until 5:00 PM on July 30, 2024 (according to the Ministry of Education and Training's instructions).

At the same time, candidates need to supplement the necessary documents to be officially recognized as admitted according to regulations. The admission results are expected to be announced before August 19, 2024.

For candidates who have already met the admission requirements at HIU through one of the early admission methods (admission based on academic transcripts or admission based on aptitude test scores) and have received early admission notification from the University, to be officially recognized as admitted, candidates must place their desired major as their first choice (number 1) to receive an additional 100% tuition scholarship for the first semester, meaning tuition fees will not be required upon enrollment, for 28 promising majors. In addition, the university offers other special policies for 5 specialized health-related majors, along with exclusive valuable gifts and a 60% IELTS scholarship worth 33 million VND per scholarship.

In addition, HIU also accepts applications for admission using the 2024 National University of Ho Chi Minh City's competency assessment exam scores through the university's common system and the method of considering high school academic results (transcript) as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training for 39 training programs of the University. HIU continues to accept applications for the next round of transcript-based admissions until July 30, 2024. Candidates can choose one of the following two methods to optimize their chances of admission.
