Coach Tran Minh Chien: 'There is no such thing as an easy job...'
On May 11, when the final matches of round 22 of V-League 2024 - 2025 were taking place, Binh Dinh Club accepted the resignation of coach Bui Doan Quang Huy and urgently invited coach Tran Minh Chien to fly from Ho Chi Minh City to take over the team.
Coach Tran Minh Chien's mission will be to help the team from the martial arts land succeed, in the context that this season's V-League only has 4 more rounds to close, making the survival battle more tense and fierce than ever.
That is a challenging goal, when after 22 rounds, Binh Dinh Club is ranked second to last with 19 points, 1 and 3 points behind SLNA Club and Quang Nam respectively, while the bottom team Da Nang is close behind with only 2 points less.
The whole Binh Dinh team is very united to overcome difficulties.

Coach Tran Minh Chien said: "Binh Dinh Club's situation at the moment is very difficult. But the more difficult it is, the harder we have to try. Everyone will have to work together because there is no easy job.
However, when I met the team, I felt a lot of hope because the solidarity of the players was very good. All members of the club were united and determined to overcome all difficulties together to stay in the V-League.
I am very happy about these positive feelings from the players. This will be the biggest foundation for me to start my new job, with the belief that I will help Binh Dinh Club overcome difficulties in the rest of the season."
The right to self-determination is in the hands of Binh Dinh Club

In fact, Binh Dinh Club still holds the right to self-determination. With only 4 more rounds left in the 2024-2025 V-League, Coach Tran Minh Chien and his team will have 5 matches including against The Cong Viettel Club (May 18), Thanh Hoa (May 25), Cong An Ha Noi (CAHN, June 3), Ho Chi Minh City (June 15) and Ha Noi (June 22).
In his debut match with the martial arts team, Coach Tran Minh Chien will meet The Cong Viettel, a team that is considered to have lost its chance to compete for the championship after losing 1-2 to HAGL in round 22, causing the Popov Club to consider giving opportunities to young players, preparing for next season.
Next, Binh Dinh Club will meet Thanh Hoa, CAHN, TP.HCM and Hanoi Club, all of whom no longer have much motivation while Nam Dinh Club is racing towards the finish line, while TP.HCM Club is likely to have successfully stayed in the league in round 25.
Binh Dinh Club has 3/5 remaining matches at home.

Therefore, if they do well in their spiritual work and promote collective strength, Binh Dinh Club will hold the power to decide their own fate in their hands, especially when they have 3/5 of their last matches to play at home in Quy Nhon.
Coach Minh Chien shared: "Binh Dinh football team is very determined to overcome difficulties, helping martial arts football continue to be at the top of Vietnamese football. We believe that if we play to our full potential, Binh Dinh Club will achieve that goal.
When I was a player, I felt the heat of Quy Nhon's "fire pan" many times. I know Binh Dinh fans love football passionately. Hopefully, Binh Dinh fans and the team will stand together, helping the players to be "inspired" from the stands to overcome all challenges in the next 5 matches."
