Social security support for people in remote areas of Ca Mau

Attending were Mr. Nguyen Minh Luan, Vice Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Dang Quoc Toan, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; representatives of departments and branches of Ca Mau province and Ho Chi Minh City.

At the program "For social security in 2025", the delegation presented 50 gifts to students in difficult circumstances, 50 gifts to families with preferential policies and presented gifts to two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers of Tan Loc and Tri Phai communes. The delegation also presented symbolic plaques for two clean drinking water system construction projects and a project to upgrade, expand and build new toilets worth 800 million VND. The total value of activities in this program is more than 1 billion VND.

Mr. Truong Tuan Anh, Head of Emulation Block 10, said that, implementing President Ho Chi Minh's teachings on the spirit of mutual love and affection and thoroughly grasping the Party and State's policy of "leaving no one behind", in the development process, Emulation Block 10 (including companies in the financial and economic sectors of the City) always determines that social security work is not only a responsibility but also a command from the heart.

Also according to Mr. Truong Tuan Anh, with the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" and the spirit of sharing love, the delegation expressed gratitude to the Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and policy families in Tan Loc and Tri Phai communes. In addition, the delegation hoped that these scholarships would give more strength to studious students, so that they could continue to go to school, strive to become good children and good students, and later become the core members to build the homeland of Ca Mau to become more and more beautiful.

Ms. Dinh Thi Mung, Chairwoman of Tan Loc Commune People's Committee, said that as a purely agricultural commune, the lives of a part of the people still face many difficulties. After implementing the two-level local government, the scale of area and population increased, while infrastructure, investment resources and conditions for serving people's lives are still limited. Therefore, the locality pays great attention to social security work, taking care of the lives of poor and near-poor households with many resources, especially mobilizing organizations and individuals to join hands to support the locality in implementing social security.

According to the Chairman of Tan Loc Commune People's Committee, the program "For social security in 2025" has a practical and deeply humane meaning. This is not only material support, but also shows affection, responsibility and sharing with people in difficult areas of Tan Loc Commune, Ca Mau Province.

As one of the students receiving support, Pham Hao Thien, a 7th grade student (Tan Loc Bac Secondary School) said that his family still had many difficulties when his parents worked far away, he lived with his grandparents, but for many years Thien was still an excellent student. Thien happily shared: Receiving a scholarship of 2 million VND, I am very happy. This amount will cover my living expenses and school supplies. I would like to thank the group for their attention and support, helping me overcome difficulties and have the conditions to continue going to school.
