Recently, storm No. 12 and storm No. 13 with strong winds, "flood on flood, storm on storm" caused natural disasters from Ha Tinh to Dak Lak; especially the historic long-lasting floods in Hue and Da Nang caused heavy damage to people, houses, schools, essential infrastructure (electricity, telecommunications, transportation, irrigation), production and business, especially aquaculture, affecting people's livelihoods, income and life.

The Ministry of National Defense has just issued a document assigning Military Region 4 and Military Region 5 to direct the Military Commands of provinces and cities and their subordinate units, in coordination with local Party committees and authorities, and units of the Ministry of National Defense stationed in the area to continue mobilizing forces and means to deploy forces to participate in search and rescue as urgently, quickly, and decisively as possible to help localities quickly overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

At the same time, ensure temporary housing for people, support people to repair houses with blown-off or damaged roofs, to be completed before November 20, 2025; build new houses and resettle households whose houses were swept away by floods, completely collapsed, or severely damaged, to be completed before January 31, 2026.
