Implementing Plan No. 129 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing Decision No. 01 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Supporting cooperatives managed by women, creating jobs for female workers by 2030", the Provincial Women's Union has implemented many activities to create jobs, increase income, and improve the material and spiritual life of women.

In 2019, Tai Yen Cooperative, Huong Dao Commune, Tam Duong District, with Ms. Nguyen Thi Bong as director, was established with the desire to utilize a large amount of livestock waste into a source of organic fertilizer for agricultural production. Ms. Bong invested nearly 3 billion VND to build a factory and purchase machinery to produce organic fertilizer.
Despite many initial difficulties in capital and customer base, with Ms. Bong's perseverance and determination, 2/4 of the cooperative's main products have been registered as Nong Dien 25 Organic Fertilizer and Nong Dien 32 Organic Fertilizer.
Not only trusted by customers in the province, but also many large customers from neighboring provinces and cities such as Cao Bang, Yen Bai, Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Lao Cai, Hanoi ... also place large orders; the consumption output of the cooperative reaches more than 500 thousand tons/year. Currently, the cooperative creates regular jobs for 10 workers with an income of 300 thousand VND/person/day.
To support women in improving their economic power, every year, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union has included the content of supporting women in developing collective economy (KTTT), cooperatives, and cooperative groups (THT) as a competition standard for union work, assigning targets to each Women's Union in districts and cities.
From 2022 to present, the Provincial Women's Union has coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Planning and Investment to organize 10 training courses on the Law on Cooperatives; supported the establishment and maintenance of 25 cooperatives and linkage groups; coordinated the establishment of 4 production and business cooperatives, focusing on the fields of agriculture, rural areas, and handicrafts.
Many group leaders and cooperative directors are dynamic, creative, and bold in finding their own direction for their establishments, leading members to approach new products and markets to grasp demand, find sustainable output, and are highly appreciated by members, women, and local authorities.
To improve the efficiency of cooperatives managed and operated by women, create jobs for female workers; support and improve the material and spiritual life of members and workers in cooperatives, the Provincial People's Committee has issued Plan No. 129 to implement Decision No. 01 of the Prime Minister on approving the Project "Supporting cooperatives managed by women, creating jobs for female workers until 2030" in the province.
Accordingly, the beneficiaries are cooperatives managed and operated by women (chairmen, members of the cooperative board of directors; directors, general directors of cooperatives, and members of the supervisory board are female); cooperatives that create many jobs for female workers (over 50% of the cooperative's workers are female).
Prioritize cooperatives that produce according to value chains, apply deep processing technology, promote traditional occupations, restore culture, exploit indigenous resources; female managers and operators of cooperatives; members and workers in cooperatives and cooperative groups; members and women who want to participate in the development of collective economy and cooperatives; prioritize women in ethnic minority areas, poor and near-poor households...
The project's goal by 2030 is to consolidate and improve the quality and efficiency of operations for 30 cooperatives and 8 cooperative groups managed and operated by women; create stable jobs for 80% of female members and workers in cooperatives and cooperative groups.
100% of female cooperative managers are trained, fostered, and have improved management and operational capacity, suitable for the production and business activities of the cooperative; consulting and supporting the establishment of 10 new cooperatives managed and operated by women, creating many jobs for female workers...
With a leading role in implementing the project, in 2023, the Provincial Women's Union has developed a specific implementation plan with the aim of strengthening propaganda and mobilizing women to raise awareness about supporting the development of collective economy and cooperatives; supporting and improving the quality of operations of cooperatives and cooperative groups managed and operated by women, creating more jobs for female workers; supporting consulting on the establishment of new cooperatives and cooperative groups managed by women; supporting the improvement of the quality of human resources of cooperatives and cooperative groups managed and operated by women, creating more jobs for female workers...
