On the afternoon of April 26, Mobile World Investment Corporation (code MWG) held its 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders in Ho Chi Minh City.
In a recent move on her personal Facebook page, Miss Mai Phuong Thuy shared a photo of herself attending the MWG Shareholders' Meeting with a shareholder card and the caption: "The most famous shareholder ????".
It is known that the record date for shareholders to register to attend MWG's 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders is March 24, 2025.
MWG sets a business plan for 2025 with a target net revenue of VND 150,000 billion and after-tax profit of VND 4,850 billion, up 12% and 30% respectively compared to the previous year.
If 100% of the set target is completed, MWG will record a year with record high revenue since its operation, while profits will recover to near the peak of 4,900 billion in 2021.
After the first quarter, MWG recorded net revenue of VND 36,135 billion, an increase of nearly 15% over the same period in 2024. Profit after tax reached VND 1,548 billion, an increase of more than 71% over the same period last year. This is the second highest quarterly profit in the history of Mobile World 's operations, only slightly lower than the peak set in the fourth quarter of 2021.
In a post on the personal page of Mr. Doan Van Hieu Em - a member of MWG's Board of Directors - about the company's first quarter business situation, right below the comment section, Miss Mai Phuong Thuy commented an animated GIF image with the meaning of "applause, praise".
