Miss Ngoc Han at the exhibition in memory of famous painter Buu Chi
The exhibition "Hands Holding Time" - commemorating the 20th anniversary of the death of painter Buu Chi (October 8, 1948 - December 14, 2022), will last from now until May 26.
More than 30 works on display were created by artist Buu Chi in different periods with diverse materials such as oil on paper, canvas, pulp on cloth... In addition to Buu Chi's works and painting stories, the exhibition also introduces to the public a limited edition art book of the same name, including the artist's biography, works and articles about him. The book helps readers - especially young people - understand more deeply the life, relationships as well as the style and inspiration of the late artist.

Buu Chi is like the incarnation of "a person standing on the mouth of a volcano", a fierce creativity that has been swept away by the ashes".
Miss Ngoc Han shared that she felt very proud to be an organizing committee member of a meaningful painting exhibition, commemorating the late painter Buu Chi - one of her favorite painters.

Attending this event, artist Le Thiet Cuong shared: "This is the second time in my life that I have seen artist Buu Chi's solo exhibition. I knew that most of his paintings were owned by collectors, but I did not expect that this time there would be such a large number of works - more than 30 works created during an important period of his career, from 1993-1997, after his stay and creation in France. The beauty of Buu Chi here is that he has translated the language of Parisian school painting into "Vietnamese" in a skillful and complete way."
