Fire at Bach Ha Kindergarten, one accountant died

Thac Ba Commune People's Committee informed that at about 7:50 p.m. on November 13, in Trung Tam village, Thac Ba commune, Lao Cai province, a fire broke out at Bach Ha Kindergarten (formerly known as Yen Binh Commune Kindergarten).

Immediately after the discovery, the People's Committee of Thac Ba commune mobilized the police force, militia and security team at the facility to join in fighting the fire. By 9:30 p.m. the same day, the authorities had controlled and extinguished the fire.

During the inspection of the fire scene, in addition to burnt belongings and documents, the Commune Police discovered a charred body inside the school's Accounting room.

Through initial verification, the victim was Ms. Trieu Thi Nguyet, born in 1989, an accountant at Bach Ha Kindergarten. The fire started in the Accounting room and then spread to the Principal's office.

Authorities continue to investigate and verify the cause of the fire.
