A large fire burned down dozens of stalls at Binh Duong market.

A major fire broke out at Binh Duong market (Binh Duong commune, Gia Lai province) at around 10:30 p.m. on November 4, burning down dozens of stalls of small traders. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties.

According to initial information, the fire broke out in the fabric business area, then quickly spread to neighboring stalls because this area sold many flammable items such as clothes and shoes. The fire rose dozens of meters high, accompanied by many loud explosions, causing panic among the surrounding people.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police of Gia Lai Province mobilized many vehicles, coordinated with local police and people to urgently put out the fire. By about 2:00 a.m. on November 5, the fire was basically under control.

Authorities are assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
