Hoa Phat is in the top 10 Strong Brands

On October 16, Vietnam Economic Magazine (VnEconomy) held a ceremony to announce and honor the Strong Vietnamese Brands 2024. Hoa Phat Group was honored to be in the Top 10 Strong Brands - Excellent Business 2024. This is the 13th consecutive time Hoa Phat has been on this honor list.

The evaluation criteria focus on the strategies, action programs and business performance results achieved, clearly demonstrating the process of: digital transformation; green transformation, developing production models towards energy saving, prioritizing the use of clean energy; protecting the brand and focusing on promoting policies towards employees and social responsibility to the community.

In the first 9 months of 2024, Hoa Phat recorded more than 105 trillion VND in revenue equivalent to more than 4 billion USD, an increase of 23% over the same period last year (85,431 billion VND), completing 75% of the 2024 plan. Profit after tax reached 9,210 billion VND, an increase of 140% over the same period last year. The Group also paid 10,000 billion VND to the State budget in the first 9 months of 2024, exceeding the amount paid for the whole year of 2023.

From 2021 to present, Hoa Phat Group has implemented a digital transformation roadmap in depth, throughout, streamlined, and smarter with the goal of creating new value in the supply chain and improving EBITDA.

Hoa Phat's iron and steel production complexes are invested with modern, closed-loop technological solutions. This solution allows for the complete recovery of all excess heat and gas in the coke smelting, blast furnace iron smelting, and steel smelting processes to operate generators, contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Hoa Phat's electricity output reaches billions of kWh/year, helping to be self-sufficient in about 90% of electricity for steel production, saving energy and reducing product costs.

Hoa Phat holds the No. 1 market share in Vietnam in the fields of construction steel, steel pipes, and Top 5 corrugated iron companies. The Group also maintains its position and market share in the leading group of clean chicken eggs and commercial pork supplied to the market. In particular, Hoa Phat clean chicken eggs are currently in the Top 3 largest producers in Vietnam and leading in the North.
