The exhibition "Country Colors 7" consists of two main spaces: "The beauty of the homeland" and "The elegance of thousands of roses". The two parallel themes show the connection in memory, and at the same time are a way to expand the artist's emotional range.
This is the seventh time artist Quynh Thom has brought "Country Colors" to art lovers, continuing the impression of previous exhibitions, which have been highly appreciated for their profound and smooth transformation in emotions and expressive techniques.
In this exhibition, the artist chose to preserve the memories of his homeland and open up a journey of inner dialogue through the image of roses - a symbol of beauty, love and enduring vitality. The 56 rose paintings displayed in the exhibition correspond to the artist's age and for Quynh Thom, this is a conversation with memories and time in the rhythm of life.

Before the opening of the exhibition, the Art Council had a meeting to evaluate the works on display. The meeting took place in an open atmosphere, respecting the creative efforts of the artists, and at the same time placing the exhibition in the general flow of contemporary art.
The representative of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association said: What is valuable about painter Quynh Thom is his steadfast spirit and passion for the theme of his homeland throughout many years of creation. Each time he returns, he brings a new perspective and a different emotional state.

The jury said that "Country Colors 7" clearly shows maturity in terms of visual thinking, emotional expression and philosophy. Although choosing traditional themes, the artist's paintings still have a contemporary feel in the flexible use of oil and acrylic paints and open layouts that evoke many associations for viewers.
The new point this time, in addition to the paintings of the homeland, the series of rose paintings is an expansion of the creative range, expressing the fragile yet enduring beauty of life. The Council also acknowledged the artist's efforts in choosing a path of perseverance, simplicity and depth. This is a consistent and admirable direction in an increasingly diverse artistic context.
The space of "Country Colors" brings viewers back to the roofs looming behind bamboo hedges, rice fields, roads, country markets, duckweed ponds... simple yet familiar images. There, emotions lie in the silence between light, color and air intermingling to create the unique features of the countryside soul.

In previous exhibitions, the artist has boldly used warm colors and contrasting light to evoke depth. In this exhibition, the technique of expression is more carefully honed, solid blocks, harmonious composition, and especially the silence that makes viewers seem to hear the sound of wind, the scent of ripe rice, the call of birds calling the season...
Roses in Quynh Thom's paintings appear in many shades: blooming, shy, falling... like expressions of inner life. The artist's colors are subtly restrained, from bright and vibrant to sad and lingering, reflecting human emotions before the flow of time.

Painter Quynh Thom shared: "Every exhibition is a very special occasion for me because it gives me the opportunity to meet friends and colleagues and feel more deeply the movement of fine arts. The works I bring are the result of days of working quietly with simple but lasting emotions. Perhaps it is the quietness and tranquility that makes me feel closer to painting than ever."
For him, exhibition spaces help artists introduce their works, and at the same time give them more opportunities to reflect on their creative path. Through professional interactions with colleagues, collectors, the public... artists can clearly feel the diversity, thereby daring to set challenges and innovate for themselves.

The interest of collectors in "Country Colors 7" partly reflects a notable trend in the art scene in recent years, that is, viewers and art collectors are gradually returning to original, familiar and genuine values.
Viewers come there as a way to balance their souls, when they are too tired of the urban, noisy and modern pace of life. Many foreign tourists and collectors also express their love for paintings that depict the beauty of the country, people and Vietnamese soul. They find in it a Vietnam that is rustic, delicate, kind and has cultural depth. Paintings of the countryside make the public feel the true breath of the land and people. Warm colors, soft light, sincere emotions are things that world art always cherishes and respects.
It is this flow of emotions that has helped Vietnamese paintings gradually find their own place in the eyes of international friends. Quynh Thom's "Country Colors" thus also contributes to the way of telling stories about Vietnamese culture through painting, so that the paintings open more doors to memories and invite people to return to their roots.

Artist Quynh Thom is also mentioned by the art community and art lovers as a person who lives simply, sincerely and is full of sharing. He does not see painting as a mere means of making a living, but rather as a way to show gratitude to life.
Although there are many collectors who choose to buy paintings at each exhibition, the artist never puts much emphasis on buying or selling. He often says: "If anyone loves paintings, loves the rustic beauty, but does not have the means to own them, I am willing to share by reducing the price or giving them away so that art lovers have the opportunity to see and feel them."

From that heart, many people have come to him to exchange and share with the artist who has a pure heart and a spirit for the common good, for the beauty of life. In addition to painting, Quynh Thom also spends a lot of time learning deeply about traditional national culture, from ancient village architecture, lifestyle, customs to cultural memories hidden in every everyday object. He also collects paintings of many other artists and sees it as a way to learn, dialogue and respect the creativity of his predecessors and colleagues.
While many people are busy searching for something new and strange, Quynh Thom's "Sac Que 7" has brought a necessary silence, evoking the root value from the beauty of simplicity. There, the work meets the need for empathy from the memories and love for the homeland that still smolders in each person.
With her heart, perseverance and warmth on her own path, artist Quynh Thom has added a humanistic voice starting from her homeland and other lands across the country, where people find peace and faith in beauty.
