Reporting at the inspection, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bui The Nhan said: Up to now, preparations for the 50th Anniversary of Binh Thuan Province Liberation Day have been urgently deployed, ensuring progress and readiness for the province's important political event.
According to the plan, the official celebration program will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on April 19 at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Phan Thiet City. From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the content includes three art performances to welcome; introduce delegates; screen the documentary film " Binh Thuan , 50 years of construction, innovation and development"; and the art performance "The country is full of joy". From 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the official program will be broadcast live and connected to other stations. The ceremony includes the flag-raising ceremony, announcement of the reason, speech by the Provincial Party Secretary, direction speech by the Party and State leaders, and speeches by representatives of veterans and young generations of Binh Thuan. From 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. is the art program to welcome and display high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks.
The list of delegates has been updated and additional invitations have been sent according to the direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial People's Committee Chairman. These include the participation of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong and Dak Nong provinces and representatives of 35 enterprises outside the province.
In parallel, the Binh Thuan Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025 with the theme “Binh Thuan soars with the rising era” will take place from April 18 to 20 on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street. On the evenings of April 29 and 30, the province will organize art performances at the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition, serving the people and tourists. In addition, there will be a 3D Mapping projection in the area in front of the theater on the evening of April 30.
To implement this content, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has developed a detailed scenario, designed technical images, sound, lighting and software programming. The total implementation cost is about 1.7 billion VND. Reception and logistics work to welcome leaders of the Party, State, leaders of ministries, central branches and neighboring provinces to attend the ceremony have also been carefully prepared. The Provincial People's Committee has issued Plan No. 1403/KH-UBND dated April 8, 2025, assigning specific tasks to each relevant unit. After listening to the reports and opinions of delegates attending the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized that the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan Province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) is a very important political event of the province in 2025, so the activities need to be ensured to be thoughtful, meaningful and safe. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the efforts of the Steering Committee and the Organizing Committee for activities to celebrate major holidays and important events in the province in 2025 in carrying out related tasks in accordance with the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
In order for the Anniversary to take place smoothly and successfully, it is necessary to make efforts, review every detail, and prepare for every situation to have a thoughtful implementation plan. Therefore, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the leaders of departments and branches, the Organizing Committee for activities to celebrate major holidays and important events in the province in 2025, and the Provincial People's Committee to develop an overall program and detailed component programs from the evening of April 18 to the morning of April 20, focusing on careful preparation for the arrangement and reception of delegates to attend.
The Provincial Party Secretary agreed with the program and content of the Rally as proposed; noted to carefully review the script, program content, and speeches at the ceremony. For the art program, it must take place according to the prepared script. For the organization of the inauguration ceremony of the project to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan province, the Provincial People's Committee is requested to review the specific and detailed work, arrange the celebration area, mobile toilets, and a suitable and scientific route diagram to ensure the inauguration ceremony takes place solemnly and thoughtfully.
In addition, the provincial People's Committee leaders also need to check the groundbreaking ceremony program for the road from the center of Ham Thuan Bac district to National Highway 1, Ham Thuan Bac district. The organization of the Binh Thuan Hot Air Balloon Festival - 2025 must ensure absolute safety. Regarding the art performance program on the evening of April 29 and April 30 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Provincial Party Secretary agreed with the proposal of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to display 3D Mapping in the area in front of the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition to serve the people.
