Completed training in swimming and drowning prevention skills for staff and teachers

(Baohatinh.vn) - The course had the participation of 129 students who are key officials and teachers of schools in 12 districts, towns and cities in Ha Tinh.

On the afternoon of May 28, the Department of Education and Training coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a summary training course to grant certificates to key officials and teachers on swimming teaching methods and drowning prevention skills for children and students in 2025. There were 129 participants who were officials and teachers from 12 districts, towns and cities.

During the 3 days from May 26 to 28, the staff and teachers participating in the training course were instructed on how to develop plans and methods to organize safe swimming programs, prevent and avoid drowning of children; basic swimming teaching methods for children; skills to prevent drowning of children; methods of rescuing drowning and first aid for victims.

100% of students met the requirements and were awarded certificates.

At the end of the training course, the students took a theoretical and practical test to receive a certificate.

The training course aims to consolidate and standardize knowledge of safe swimming skills and child drowning prevention skills for staff and teachers in schools.
