Refund for 59 seniors who bought milk at the product introduction conference

According to the Phu Tho Newspaper, in the report “Hiding behind the gift giving, luring the elderly to buy milk” published on April 17, the elderly members in Thu Ngac commune, Tan Son district were “lured” to buy Nutrition G9 Colostrum sold by Nam Ha Group Pharmaceutical Company Limited in violation of regulations during a product introduction conference. By April 18, 59 elderly members had received a refund from the Company with a total amount of VND 126,800,000.

Previously, Nam Ha Group Pharmaceutical Company Limited (headquartered at No. 14, THC 07 Street, Tan Chanh Hiep Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City) held a conference to introduce the health protection food product Alpha Lipit Gold Glutathione Colostrum Nutrition G9 to elderly members in Thu Ngac Commune, Tan Son District.

Corporate banking transactions have transferred money to coordinate refunds to people.

However, during the implementation process, the company did not comply with the commitment: "Not to organize medical examinations, prescribe and sell products while organizing seminars, conferences to introduce and advertise food" previously with the authorities and local authorities. The company sold products to many elderly members and earned tens of millions of dong.

After receiving the information, the functional sector and local government requested the company to cooperate in refunding and recalling the products that were sold illegally to the people. By April 18, 59 senior members had received refunds. The total amount was 126,800,000 VND. Nam Ha Group Pharmaceutical Company Limited recalled the products according to the law.
