According to information from the Ha Tinh Statistics Office, the total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in the first 5 months of 2025 in the area is estimated at 37,632.59 billion VND, an increase of 11.6% over the same period last year.

According to the statistics agency, domestic purchasing power is clearly recovering, especially in essential and daily-life goods such as food, foodstuffs and household appliances, while there is a tendency to hoard valuable assets. In contrast, the transportation and petroleum groups have decreased due to the impact of prices and the general economic situation. This reflects cautious spending on big-ticket items and traditional energy consumption.

Revenue from accommodation, catering and tourism services has increased significantly. Accommodation services alone reached an estimated VND 132.5 billion, up 27.92%, showing a positive signal, demonstrating the growth of the tourism industry. To achieve these results, in recent times, the management boards of areas, points and tourism businesses across the province have continuously made efforts to build destination infrastructure, strengthen the development of many new and attractive products, improve service quality and focus on promotion.
Revenue from other services also tended to grow, of which: Real estate business group increased by 39.01%; administration and support services increased by 8.1%; education and training increased by 2.21%; healthcare and social assistance activities increased by 23.22%...
Total retail sales of goods and services are expected to continue to grow in June, as students are on summer vacation, and demand for entertainment has increased sharply. Beach tourism activities in localities have developed steadily, attracting tourists from within and outside the province to visit and relax.
However, new market developments require all levels and sectors to continue to closely coordinate, closely monitor supply and demand of goods, market prices, and proactively take measures to regulate supply and demand to ensure production and people's lives.
