Tuition fees for medical schools to increase in 2025

Hanoi University of Pharmacy has just officially announced the adjustment of tuition fees for the 2025-2026 academic year for full-time training programs. Specifically, the Pharmacy major will have the highest tuition fee of 27.6 million VND/year.

Following is the Pharmaceutical Chemistry major with 24.4 million VND/year. The remaining two majors are Biotechnology and Chemistry with 17.1 million VND/year. Compared to last year, the tuition fee increased from 1.9-3.2 million VND, equivalent to 12-15%.

For the Pharmacy training joint program with the University of Sydney (Australia), the tuition fee for the study period at Hanoi University of Pharmacy is expected to be 150 million VND/year.

Tuition fees for subsequent years may be adjusted but not exceeding 10% compared to the previous year. The study period at the University of Sydney will apply the tuition fees according to the school's regulations for international students, with an adjustment of not more than 5% per year.

Danang University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy announced the expected tuition fees for 2025. Of which, the tuition fee for Medicine and Pharmacy is 40 million VND/year, with the Medicine major alone increasing by 8.9 million VND compared to the previous year. The tuition fee for the remaining majors in 2025 is expected to be 30 million VND/year (an increase of 6.4 million VND compared to 2024).

Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy announced that the highest tuition fee for the 2025 enrollment period is over 63 million VND/year. The majors include: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy. The remaining majors have tuition fees from 44 to nearly 60 million VND/year. Compared to 2024, tuition fees for most majors have increased by 10-12 million VND/school year. In particular, the Medicine major has increased by nearly 14 million VND compared to the 2024 enrollment period.

Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy plans to increase tuition from 60 million VND/year to 65 million VND/year for the Vietnamese language training program for the Medical major. Notably, for the English language training program for the Medical major, the school plans to apply a tuition fee of 5,000 USD/year (about more than 129 million VND).

Tuition for Traditional Medicine is 50 million VND/year, Preventive Medicine is 40 million VND/year. The lowest is Public Health, expected to collect 20 million VND/year.

Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy , the expected tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year for the majors of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy is the highest in the whole school at 61.1 million VND/year (last year the fee was 48.9 million VND/year). The Public Health major has the lowest tuition fee of 36.6 million VND/year (last year the fee was 29.3 million VND/year). The school said that the tuition fee increase roadmap has a maximum of 15%/year.

Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine announced the expected tuition fees for the 2025 - 2026 school year, with two main frames of 41.8 million VND/year for the majors of Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Rehabilitation Technology, Ophthalmology Refractive Surgery, Public Health, Nutrition and 55.2 million VND/year for the majors of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry and Traditional Medicine.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy plans to keep tuition fees stable compared to 2024. Candidates admitted in 2025 will pay tuition fees of 30 - 84.7 million VND/year depending on the major. The highest tuition fee is 84.7 million VND for Dentistry. Next is Medicine, 82.2 million VND/year.

The Pharmacy industry is expected to earn 60.5 million VND/year. The Traditional Medicine, Preventive Medicine, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry industries have the same expected tuition of 50 million VND/year.

Industries with the same income of 46 million VND/year include: Nursing, Nursing specializing in anesthesia and resuscitation, Midwifery, Nutrition, Dental prosthetics, Medical testing techniques, Medical imaging techniques, Rehabilitation techniques, Public health.

Hong Bang International University announced the provisional tuition fee for the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year at 72 million VND for the Dentistry and Medicine majors. With 15 semesters, the total tuition fee for these two majors is over 1 billion VND (excluding tuition fees for Physical Education and National Defense and Security Education).
