A new, modern approach to history

In my opinion, this is a new, effective way of expression, suitable for the current trend of young people, so it should be widely replicated."

Continuing the series of major activities of Nhan Dan Newspaper with the special interactive exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day at the newspaper headquarters, implementing the direction of the Editor-in-Chief, on April 28, more than 500 special supplements celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day were presented by the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Bac Ninh to the education sector and readers in the area.

Immediately after receiving it, the Department will deploy it to school libraries to serve teaching and learning activities and educational activities in schools, especially at this very meaningful time," said comrade Nguyen The Son.

The special supplement commemorating the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day is a publication published by Nhan Dan Newspaper. In a new format, the supplement includes 8 special information pages, recreating a part of the Ho Chi Minh Campaign with the milestone of capturing the Independence Palace. Readers can interact with the supplement through augmented reality (AR) technology or 3D mapping projection.

Notably, this is the first time 3D mapping technology has been used to project a vertical campaign image on Nhan Dan Newspaper. With a 6-minute experience, including many simulated images and vivid sounds, recreating the milestone of the Vietnamese army's capture of the Independence Palace, the supplement acts as a bridge between history and the young generation, creating a "fever" in recent days.

This once again shows that young people are not indifferent to history but need to "touch" history through new ways of storytelling, new technology, creativity, modernity, and appeal.
