Faced with the complicated developments of storm No. 10, the Department of Education and Training of Ha Tinh province has issued a document directing localities and educational institutions to allow students of all levels to stay home from school on September 29 to cope with the storm.
Following the direction of the province and the education sector, schools have also announced to class groups and parent groups about the school closure to prevent storms. Depending on the weather and the actual situation of the locality, educational institutions can consider extending the school closure for an appropriate period of time to ensure the safety of students and teachers.
The Department of Education and Training requires units to closely monitor the storm's developments on mass media to proactively handle necessary situations, ensuring safety; at the same time, organize 24/24 hours on duty; develop plans to move files, documents, machinery, equipment, tables and chairs to safe places, avoiding damage. Review and inspect all school and classroom facilities, especially degraded structures, at risk of being unsafe when heavy rains, floods, landslides, inundation occur...

During the time students are off school, the school continues to promote propaganda and education on disaster prevention skills; instruct students and parents on drowning, landslide and traffic safety prevention skills; establish an information channel with parents to manage students, minimizing the risks of natural disasters happening to them.
