For over a week now, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (Lai Trung village, Cam Hung commune) has temporarily put aside her work to prepare for the new school year with her children. The family has 2 children entering grade 9 and grade 1, each with its own curriculum. Therefore, in addition to buying uniforms and books, Ms. Thuy also focuses on creating a good mentality for her children.

Ms. Thuy shared: “My older child is on the border between adolescence and adulthood, so I choose to talk to him more to understand the problems he is facing; not focusing on choosing a grade or class; and at the same time, setting learning goals with him from the beginning. My younger child is about to enter first grade, and the big difference between preschool and primary school makes me worried. Therefore, in addition to changing my lifestyle, I also research and learn to guide my child to approach the simplest lessons.”
The 2025-2026 school year is expected to bring new joys when some schools in Ha Tinh are renovated to be spacious and clean; many major policies on education are implemented - especially the policy of exempting tuition fees for all students of public educational institutions, and supporting tuition fees for students of private educational institutions. Thanks to that, many families have more funds to take care of their children before the first day of school. "My husband and I are farmers, so when we heard that our 5th and 8th graders do not have to pay tuition fees this new school year, we were very happy. Thanks to that, I can save up to buy more clothes and new school bags, helping my children have more joy to excel in their studies" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (Van Khang village, Duc Minh commune) shared.

The bustling summer days are gradually coming to an end. Since mid-August, many students have begun to “wind up” and prepare to return to school by adjusting their schedules, consolidating old knowledge, planning their studies, finding inspiration in lectures, etc. Phan Thi Bao Ngoc (Class 10A7, Cam Xuyen High School) shared: “This is my first year studying at a high school, so I am very eager to get to know new friends. Right after determining my class and being assigned to a class, I proactively made a study plan for 3 years of high school with the hope of conquering my dream university.”

At this time, in most schools, preparations for the new school year have been completed. The teaching staff of the schools have proactively arranged and cleaned the facilities, checked the school supplies, decorated the classrooms... ready to welcome the beloved students on the first day of school. Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Le - Principal of Tung Anh Primary School (Duc Tho commune) shared: "In the 2025-2026 school year, the school is expected to have 20 classes with 665 students. In addition to the school renovation work, we have spent a lot of time to train the capacity of the teaching staff, focusing on professional activities to share about modern teaching methods, applying AI technology in implementing professional activities".
A strong mindset is always a necessary asset to start new journeys. Although there will be difficulties, the “knowledge boat trip” in 2025-2026 will certainly be full of promise for Ha Tinh students to continue promoting the tradition of studiousness and reaping many achievements.
