For over a week now, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy (Lai Trung village, Cam Hung commune) has temporarily set aside her work to prepare for the new school year with her children. Her family has two children, entering 9th grade and 1st grade respectively, each with its own unique characteristics. Therefore, besides buying uniforms and textbooks, Ms. Thuy also focuses on creating a positive mindset for her children.

Ms. Thuy shared: “My eldest child is on the transitional path between adolescence and adulthood, so I choose to talk to her more to understand the problems she's facing; I don't put too much pressure on her regarding choosing a grade or class; and I help her set learning goals from the beginning. My youngest child is preparing to enter first grade, and the significant difference between preschool and elementary school makes me quite worried. Therefore, besides adjusting her daily routine, I also research and learn how to guide her through the simplest lessons.”
The 2025-2026 school year is expected to bring many new joys as several schools in Ha Tinh province are renovated to be spacious and clean; many major policies and initiatives on education are implemented - especially the policy of waiving tuition fees for all students in public schools and providing tuition support for students in private and independent schools. Many families will have additional funds to care for their children before the start of the school year. “My husband and I are farmers, so when we heard that our two children in grades 5 and 8 won’t have to pay tuition fees this school year, we were very happy. Thanks to that, I can save up to buy new clothes and school bags, giving them more joy to strive for in their studies,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa (Van Khang village, Duc Minh commune).

As the bustling summer days draw to a close, from mid-August onwards, many students begin to gear up for their return to school by adjusting their daily routines, consolidating old knowledge, planning their studies, and finding inspiration in lectures… Phan Thi Bao Ngoc (Class 10A7, Cam Xuyen High School) shared: “This is my first year studying at a high school, so I'm very excited to make new friends. Right after determining my chosen major and being assigned to a class, I proactively planned my studies for the next three years of high school, hoping to conquer my dream university.”

At this time, preparations for the new school year are complete in most schools. The teaching staff has proactively arranged and cleaned facilities, reviewed learning materials, and decorated classrooms, ready to welcome their beloved students on the first day of school. Ms. Pham Thi Phuong Le, Principal of Tung Anh Primary School (Duc Tho commune), shared: “For the 2025-2026 school year, the school plans to have 20 classes with 665 students. Besides renovating the school, we have dedicated a lot of time to improving the capacity of our teachers, focusing on professional development sessions to share modern teaching methods and the application of AI technology in implementing professional activities.”
A strong mindset is always essential for embarking on new journeys. Although there will be difficulties, the "journey of knowledge" in 2025-2026 will certainly be promising, allowing students in Ha Tinh to continue upholding their tradition of studiousness and achieve many accomplishments.
