Capacity building for officials working in poverty reduction

(Baohatinh.vn) - The team of cadres working on poverty reduction in Loc Ha commune (Ha Tinh) has been trained in professional skills, improving their qualifications, skills and methods to meet the job requirements in the new period.

On December 5, Loc Ha commune organized a training conference to improve capacity to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction by 2025.

The training course was attended by nearly 150 people who are officials and specialists from departments, offices, and commune-level organizations; Party cell secretaries, village heads, women's unions, farmers' unions, poverty reduction collaborators; representatives of poor and near-poor households who have participated in and benefited from livelihood diversification models for poverty reduction in 2025...

During the 1-day training course, participants were informed about the topic “Poverty reduction, current situation, causes, and solutions for sustainable poverty reduction”. The main content was the Party and State’s viewpoint on poverty reduction; the current situation of poverty reduction and the results of poverty reduction in Loc Ha commune in recent years; and how to implement some solutions in the coming time.

Along with instructions on the process of investigating and reviewing poor and near-poor households; instructions on inspection and supervision of the implementation of the poverty reduction program, the participants of the training course were also imparted knowledge, skills and experience on direct sowing of spring rice; spring rice transplanting; ways to prevent and control rice pests and diseases; sowing and caring for spring peanuts; raising hybrid cattle in captivity...

Officers and collaborators implementing the poverty reduction program have participated in serious and effective training courses.

Through this training course, it will help improve the knowledge, awareness, qualifications and skills of the team of poverty reduction officers at the grassroots level to improve the effectiveness of participating in the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for the period 2021 - 2025 and the following period.
