In order to encourage employees working in provinces and cities to return to their hometowns to live and work, Haivina Hong Linh Company Limited has just issued a travel expense support package with high incentives. Accordingly, employees who submit their application and officially start working will have 100% of their train and bus tickets paid; in case of air travel, they will be supported equivalent to the price of a bus ticket on the same route.

In addition to this unique "repatriation" policy, employees working at the company also enjoy full insurance, periodic health check-ups; travel, housing, seniority, and childcare allowances; lunch support; monthly and quarterly bonuses for employees with achievements; shuttle bus service; and income from 7 million VND or more/month.
Ms. Vo Thi Tam - Chairwoman of the company's grassroots union said: "The company currently has 1,300 workers and is looking to recruit 1,000 more to serve production expansion in the coming time. The company also proposed that all levels and sectors support the construction of kindergartens for workers' children. This is a project that is expected to help workers, especially female workers, feel secure in their long-term commitment."

Not only Haivina, Ha Tinh Garment Factory 10 (Vung Ang Economic Zone) also boldly implemented a series of unprecedented policies in textile and garment enterprises in the province to attract skilled workers and retain the current workforce of nearly 400 workers.
In addition to the average income of 8 million VND/person/month and full social insurance payment, the enterprise also supports meal allowances; provides additional protective equipment outside the list; and free periodic health check-ups. In particular, to overcome difficulties in transportation, the enterprise has supported gas expenses per kilometer for workers living nearby and rented 5 cars to pick up and drop off workers living far away for free.

In the summer, in addition to investing in factory cooling equipment, the company also supports 150,000 VND/person/month for heat protection (buying hats, masks, cool drinks, etc.). At the beginning of the new school year, each employee is supported by the company with 2 million VND for their children's education expenses.
The factory also built housing for workers and subsidized rent from 300,000 to 500,000 VND/month. On the occasion of Lunar New Year, workers were awarded 1 month's salary, received an additional Tet gift of 500,000 VND and lucky money on the first working day of the year.
At Manh Anh Company Limited (Nam Hong Linh Ward), to attract skilled workers from industrial zones across the country, the company is also applying an open recruitment policy. In addition to the income of 7 million VND/month, the company will support 1 million VND for each successful worker. Those who introduce new workers will also receive appropriate bonuses depending on the number.
Mr. Tran Van Manh - Director of Manh Anh Garment Company Limited shared: "The policy of direct support for recruited workers and for labor referrals is a way for businesses to proactively expand their human resources. At the same time, ensuring jobs and stable income will encourage skilled workers working in large cities and provinces to boldly choose Ha Tinh, helping them feel more secure when deciding to return to their hometown to work."

According to statistics, the whole province currently has more than 21,700 workers working in enterprises inside and outside the economic zone; Vung Ang Economic Zone alone has attracted over 11,000 people. In the last months of 2025, the recruitment demand of enterprises in the area is estimated at about 10,000 workers.
However, recruitment is facing many difficulties due to the lack of local labor, while the salaries of Ha Tinh enterprises cannot compete with those of large industrial centers. However, the reality is that income in big cities is higher but the cost of living is expensive, making the savings of workers not much.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung (Ky Thuong commune) used to work as a worker in the South for many years, and has now returned to her hometown to work for two years. She shared: "Returning to the hometown has a lower income, but I am closer to my family, I don't have to rent a room, the cost of food, travel, and education for my children are all reduced; and I also enjoy many local support policies, so it's not much worse than working far away."
From supporting children’s travel, housing, and education costs to improving welfare and working conditions, Ha Tinh businesses are demonstrating strong efforts in the competition for human resources. This also contributes to building a stable, humane working environment, in line with the development trends of the current labor market.
